Hi, my name is Tyler! I grew up playing sports my entire life, from baseball to soccer to basketball, and with each change of the season came a new sports season. I did not play any sports collegiately, so after graduating high school I filled that void with weight lifting and strength training. Shortly after realizing health and fitness was my true passion, I decided to combine that with my ability to communicate and my desire to help others, and began my career as a personal fitness trainer. While I have definitely enjoyed my experiences as an individual personal trainer, I have recently expanded my coaching to group style classes, and enjoy the atmosphere and energy the group classes can provide. Outside of the gym, I remain a big sports fan, and am a huge advocate for Vegetarian/Vegan lifestyle. I have been on a vegetarian-based diet for almost 2 years. I am looking forward to being a part of Pike Fitness and watching the gym grow and develop as I continue to progress my own training career.
Construct is our hybrid fitness class combining the body building movements we all know and love, but adding the intensity of a CrossFit workout to burn off the calories without walking on a treadmill for hours. We have officially started our first cycle of Construct. In this cycle our goal is to maintain the same weight or increase it while adding more reps throughout 5 weeks! Our focus will be on chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, legs and abdominals. The first half of the class will start with focusing on the specific muscle group for the day and end with a workout to burn calories to shred fat and emphasize muscle growth. This class is part of both our Pike and Pike Plus membership. Come in and try a free class!

Our first pop-up workout at Athleta was a success! It was great to see old faces and welcome the new ones. We want to thank everyone who came out and joined us for the workout. If you could not make it to the Athleta pop-up this week, don’t worry! We are very happy and excited to announce that Athleta has invited us back for three more pop-ups, so stay tuned! We are also planning more pop-ups for the month of July, so there will be plenty more opportunities. We hope to see you there!
