Class Descriptions

Get the Most Out of Your Workout

Our gym in Chadds Ford is open 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, with morning and afternoon classes offered on the weekends from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. At our community-focused gym, we offer a variety of class types, open gym, and personal training. You can always fit the Pike into your day!

Train

Performing a different body weight and/or weight training workout. Train is done at a high intensity to improve overall fitness level. Our Train classes take the variation and intensity of CrossFit, but condense it down to less weightlifting movements (no barbell), integrating more body weight and dumbbell movements. These workouts will challenge each individual in their own way and push them to their own limit. These workouts help push the best endurance athletes, but also start and develop a building block for anyone new or returning to fitness.

 

Duration: 45 Minutes

 

Construct

With the focus on bodybuilding movements and circuit training each class will focus on a specific muscle group to help grow, develop, and tone specific areas of the body. This is a two part class, where the second half will focus on a workout that will target and work out the specific body part concentrated on for that day. The workout will be a high intensity and always capped out at 15 minutes.

 

Duration: 60 Minutes

Burn

A quick workout to get you sweating, moving, and burning calories. This workout is all body weight, resistance, and dumbbell training. With the intensity level up in a short duration, the emphasis here is moving quick and moving well.

 

Duration: 30 Minutes

Crossfit

Constantly varied, functional movements done at a high intensity. These classes contain a mix between body weight and strength training movements. This class has an emphasis on the principles of olympic lifting and gymnastic movements, while performing safely and efficiently.

Duration: 60 Minutes

Endure

Pushing the intensity longer with the goal to build your body a lasting engine. With an extended class time containing more than just one workout. This class is for all levels and will train you to push through any workout. Everything is performed at body weight and resistance training with some dumbbell use. No barbells will be used for this class.
